Teacher programs at the Skirball include courses that focus on integrating the arts and world cultures into classroom curricula, and workshops to sharpen skills or deepen knowledge of teaching practice and current social issues. Teaching Our World through the Arts is a professional development program that prepares K–12 teachers to incorporate music, visual arts, theater, and dance in their classrooms. To learn more, click here.

Staff Teambuilding and Retreats
Skirball educators are happy to help you develop a full or half–day teambuilding retreat or workshop for your staff. These may be conducted either in our popular family destination, Noah’s Ark at the Skirball, or in our core exhibition, Vision and Values: Jewish Life from Antiquity to America. Learning for Life Through its adult education initiative, Learning for Life, the Skirball offers many learning opportunities for adults of all ages. Of particular interest to educators are classes in literature, history, and art. For information, call (310) 440–4651 or visit Learning for Life.
Teacher Museum Admission and Audrey's Museum Store Discounts
Teachers are eligible for complimentary admission to Skirball exhibitions, including Noah’s Ark at the Skirball. Tickets for all exhibitions are available at the door, subject to availability. Simply show your teacher ID to gain free admission. Advance tickets to Noah’s Ark at the Skirball are recommended on free Thursdays, weekends, and during school holidays. Teachers also receive a 10% discount at Audrey’s Museum Store—all year round—off books, art supplies, music, and more. Please show your teacher ID to receive these benefits. Teachers also receive special discount coupons when they complete an online evaluation of one of our tours or programs after their visit.
