Acclaimed Zimbabwe-born dancer and choreographer Nora Chipaumire performs Convoys, Curfews, and Roadblocks, from her Bessie Award-winning work Chimurenga; Dark Swan (inspired by the ballet Dying Swan, made famous by the legendary Anna Pavlova) ; and Miriam, based upon the life of iconic South African singer and civil rights activist Miriam Makeba.
