Klezmer Across Borders
The late-twentieth-century klezmer revival in the United States is well known to many. Few are aware that the renaissance has had major proponents elsewhere in North and South America. This winter, hear two contemporary klezmer acts—one Canadian, one Argentinean—whose compositions reflect their national identities and own immigrant heritages.
