Skirball Cultural Center logo mark

Permission to reproduce this logo mark is limited to the promotion of events held at the Skirball and for this purpose only. Permission to reproduce the Skirball logo mark is also contingent upon adherence to the following requirements and guidelines pertaining to its usage:

Requirements

The Skirball logo mark represents our entire corporation; therefore, it is the single most important element in our visual identity. There are certain requirements for the use of the logo mark. It is important to adhere to these requirements at all times.

    Authorized Artwork
The logo mark design has been carefully considered; therefore, it should not be redrawn or altered in any way.

    Minimum and Maximum Size
The logo mark should be reproduced no smaller than 1.25 inches wide. It should be reproduced no larger that 36 inches wide without specific permission from the Skirball; to obtain permission for reproductions larger than 36 inches wide, please contact (310) 440-4544 or communications@skirball.org.

    Isolation Area
Keeping the logo mark isolated from other elements is the key to preserving its presence and legibility. A minimum amount of space should surround the logo mark, separating it from the headlines, text, imagery, or the outside edge of the document or application.

    Incorrect usage
In order to preserve its status as a registered trademark, the logo artwork must not be altered in any way. Changing the logo mark will reduce its impact and detract from the consistent, professional image of the Skirball Cultural Center. Please follow the following guidelines in order to minimize the likelihood of incorrect usage of the logo mark:
  • Do not place the logo mark on a heavy textured background or pattern.
  • Do not place the logo mark in a framed shape.
  • Do not change the font, spacing, or upper-lowercase configuration of the lettering in the logo mark.
  • Do not use the name “Skirball Cultural Center” without the symbol.
  • Do not scale one element over another in the logo mark.
  • Do not separate and reposition one element over another in the logo mark.
  • Do not distort or rotate the logo mark.
  • Do not alter the designated tonal values of the logo mark's black color.
