How to Register

Introducing new online registration procedures! In response to teacher feedback, the Skirball will no longer host Educator Open Houses during the summer. Instead, we have set up a completely online school program registration system! As of the 2010–2011 academic year, teachers interested in bringing students to school tours and/or performances at the Skirball must register online. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.

1. SELECT YOUR SCHOOL TOUR OR PERFORMANCE—Find out more about 2010-2011 Skirball school tours and performances at these specially designated websites, which include complete program descriptions, grade level-appropriateness, and group size recommendations:

2. FOLLOW REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY—Learn exactly how to sign up for a school tour or performance by reading the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) posted at www.skirball.org/education/FAQ. Scheduling guidelines (including blackout dates), program fees, admission and bus scholarships, registration procedures, and helpful hints for new teachers can be found in the FAQ.
   
   
3. Refer-A-Teacher Scholarship Promo!—Recommend a school tour or performance to a colleague who has never brought his/her class to the Skirball before and receive an admissions scholarship for your own class!



4. SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST—After selecting the school program that suits your grade level and reading the FAQ thoroughly submit your online request to book a school tour or performance. Make sure to fill out all required fields; incomplete forms will not be accepted by our online system.



5. E-MAIL YOUR QUESTIONS—Please e-mail your inquiries to education@skirball.org, but remember that the only way to book a school tour or school performance is to complete an online request (see #3 above).



6. RECEIVE YOUR BOOKING CONFIRMATION—After you have submitted your online request, you will receive within ten days a confirmation e-mail indicating the exact date of your school visit. Please e-mail eduation@skirball.org or call (310) 440-4662 if you do not hear from us within that time frame. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, your visit is not guaranteed. Unscheduled groups will not be admitted.
