JANUARY AT THE SKIRBALL
This month at the Skirball, don't miss appearances by preeminent civil rights figures Rev. James M. Lawson, Jr., and Dr. Terrence Roberts, in conversation with journalist Erin Aubry Kaplan; acclaimed jazz musician and composer Marcus Shelby in a concert honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; and former Gourmet magazine journalists Ruth Reichl, Laurie Ochoa, and Jonathan Gold. Also experience fun-filled family programs, as well as the exhibitions Road to Freedom, Breach of Peace, Images for Human Rights, and An Idea Called Tomorrow - 2, featuring the major sculptural work Paper Person (pictured above right).
