The Skirball Cultural Center welcomes children and their families to climb aboard for an extraordinary, wondrous journey. Inspired by the ancient flood story of Noah's Ark, which has parallels in many different cultures around the world, this hands-on gallery and outdoor experience beckons visitors to take shelter and set sail together on a gigantic wooden ark. Immerse yourself in a community of interactive play with hundreds of handcrafted, fanciful animals made from recycled materials, ranging from life-size elephants and giraffes to snakes, hedgehogs, and flamingos. Conduct a storm, make rain, help build the ark, scale the walls, feed the animals, marvel at folk art, create art, and meet new friends!
