Come together at the Skirball
The Skirball Cultural Center offers welcome and hospitality in a distinctive architectural setting. Whether you're planning an important meeting, conference, or retreat for business, or a life cycle celebration or other festive gathering for family and friends, consider the Skirball, a place where everyone can feel at home.
Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie and nestled on 15 acres in the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles, the Skirball has been admired for its intimate scale and sensitivity to the natural environment. Our peaceful garden patios and a dramatic, contemporary ballroom integrate light, space, water, and sweeping vistas. Flexible exterior and interior spaces accommodate gatherings of all sizes, from intimate groups as small as 15, to gala events and conferences of up to 2,000 guests. Our culinary team creates menus specially designed for every occasion. Events can also be planned in conjunction with a Skirball exhibition or public program, or be combined with a private group tour of our permanent collection galleries.
To meet your special event needs, the Skirball provides professional, personalized, and imaginative event planning; state-of-the-art audio-visual and lighting technologies; innovative on-site catering; full bar services; and complimentary parking. Read more about our catering capabilities.
When you choose to plan an event at the Skirball—a dynamic crossroads of cultural and educational activity—you will also be supporting a nonprofit institution dedicated to serving the community.
