ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Participate in a day full of “learn, do, and share” focused on designing a sustainable Los Angeles.
Over the course of diy days @ the Skirball, a diverse array of speakers will share projects that are making local and global impact. Presenters include Nirvan Mullick, co-creator of the Imagination Foundation and of the short documentary Caine’s Arcade; Mick Ebeling, founder of Not Impossible Labs and creator of the EyeWriter; Elizabeth Stewart, founder and CEO of Hub LA; Lance Weiler, storyteller and co-founder of Reboot Stories; and Tara Tiger Brown, founder of LA Makerspace.
Attendees can also roll up their sleeves and participate in a number of cross-generational “think and do” workshops that focus on collaborative design and creation. Workshops include knowledge exchange, an experimental "storysprint" session, collaborative storytelling, a "creative sparks" competition, and more.
