Some of the themes explored are Jewish political behavior and practice, anti- Semitism’s evolution and impact on Jewish consciousness, modernity and Jewish nationalism, and the American Jewish experience.

Instructor: Dr. Steven Windmueller is a specialist on political issues and American Jewish affairs. He has written extensively on Jewish political affairs, the Middle East, and global social trends. He holds
a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in international relations, and served at Hebrew Union College for almost twenty years as both a faculty member and dean.
