ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Mike Myers’s directorial debut tells the story of Shep Gordon, the legendary music manager and inventor of the “celebrity chef.”
Capitalist, protector, hedonist, pioneer, showman, shaman—Gordon is the consummate Hollywood insider. Known for managing the careers of musicians such as Alice Cooper, Blondie, and Luther Vandross, he is also credited with inventing the concept of the “celebrity chef.” His roster has included star chefs Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, and Roger Vergé.
Get a sneak peek at this documentary, which hits theaters in June, and experience the story of this “supermensch” as told by those who know him best, including Cooper, Lagasse, Michael Douglas, Sylvester Stallone, Anne Murray, Willie Nelson, and more.
(2013, 84 min. Rated R.)
A Q&A with Shep Gordon follows the screening.
