ABOUT THE PROGRAM

In conjunction with the exhibition Gary Baseman: The Door Is Always Open, the Skirball is proud to screen this full-length animated film sprung from the mind of artist Gary Baseman.

Meet Spot, a clever little dog with big dreams of becoming a real boy in Disney's hilarious critical hit Teacher’s Pet ©Disney. When Spot finds out that a crazy scientist can make his wish come true, he takes a cross-country trek with his best friend and master, Leonard, and Leonard’s mom. However, Dr. Krank's experiments are a little less than perfect, and it will take Leonard and his pet pals to right this genetic wrong. (2004, 74 min. Rated PG for mildly crude humor.)
