ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Join the Skirball in this worldwide event celebrating the creativity and imagination of kids around the world.

Last year, the world was introduced to Caine, a local kid from Boyle Heights, who spent his afternoons at his father’s shop. But instead of whiling away the hours, he used creativity and ingenuity to create an arcade entirely out of cardboard. In celebration of Caine’s story, the Skirball will participate in the worldwide Global Cardboard Challenge. Swing by and build your own cardboard creation using boxes, cutouts, and scraps. Skirball artists will be on hand to help out.
