Bring the whole family to the Skirball’s Last Weekends of the Month. These fun-filled Saturdays and Sundays feature special last-weekend-only performances and activities that change every month. Take part in related art activities in the Family Art Studio, too.

Saturday, March 29, 2:00–3:00 p.m.—The Hollow Trees
Sing and dance to this acoustic band’s upbeat Americana music—a mix of old-time chestnuts, obscure gems, and original songs performed in an array of styles such as folk, country, blues, and jazz. The Hollow Trees are sure to get the whole family’s toes tappin’!
Sunday, March 30, 2:00–3:00 p.m.—Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band
Praised by USA Today and CBS as one of the best kids’ bands in Los Angeles, the husband-and-wife duo—comprised of award-winning singer/songwriter Lucky Diaz and Broadway performer/songwriter Alisha Gaddis—serve up catchy pop and cleverly crafted lyrics amusing to audiences of all ages.
April 26 and 27—Skirball Pet Party
In conjunction with the exhibition The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats, spend the weekend rubbing noses with cats and dogs from the Pasadena Humane Society and reading books that feature some of Keats’ most beloved furry characters. Also create animal toys and pet portraits of your own. Animals will be available for adoption. Note: Please leave personal pets at home.
