ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Listen as Mariachi Tesoro de San Fernando, one of Los Angeles’ top mariachi youth groups, performs well-known music from Mexico.
From the coastal plains of Veracruz to the jungles of the La Huasteca region to the urban streets of Mexico City, the ensemble takes you on a musical journey with traditional song, costume, and instrumentation. The group showcases the talents of music students from the nationally recognized Mariachi Master-Apprentice Program (MMAP) from the city of San Fernando. Their virtuosic playing and singing is guaranteed to get your family up and dancing.
