ABOUT THE PROGRAM

In Neil Simon’s Murder by Death, a group of detectives and their guests are invited to a secluded mansion by Lionel Twain (Truman Capote) in order to solve a complex murder mystery. Alec Guinness plays Twain’s comical blind butler.

Murder by Death takes satirical inspiration from traditional whodunit mysteries and well-known detective characters such as Sam Spade and Agatha Christie. The all-star cast includes Peter Falk, Peter Sellers, and Eileen Brennan.
