Private Guided Tours
Groups of 10 or more are invited to book a private, docent-led tour of the exhibitions listed below. Click on the tour of your choice below to learn more about each one and to access the online tour request form. All private guided tours must be booked and pre-paid at least two weeks in advance of the desired visit date, so be sure to plan ahead!
The per-person fees for a private guided tour are as follows:
$7 General, Seniors, and Full-Time Students
$4 Children 2–12
FREE to Children under 2
Note: Per-person fees for private guided tours apply to all members of your group, including Skirball Members.

Gary Baseman: The Door Is Always Open
Groups of 10 or more are invited to book a private, docent-led tour.
Explore the creative world of artist Gary Baseman by taking an “open-house” tour of the exhibition Gary Baseman: The Door Is Always Open. Available to groups of ten or more, Tuesday–Sunday, May 7–August 10, 2013.
Experience special occasions and holiday festivities in the “dining room”; travel around the world with his friend Toby in the “hallway”; learn of his family’s history in both war-time Poland and as immigrants to America in the “study”; revisit his success as a commercial artist in the “office”; and enjoy his sense of games and play in the “den”.

Spotlight Tour: The Nuremberg Laws
Groups of 10 or more are invited to book a private, docent-led tour.
Inside Visions and Values: Jewish Life from Antiquity to America, view typescripts of and discuss the historic Nuremberg Laws, which deprived Jews of German citizenship and represented the first crucial decree leading to the Holocaust. Learn how democracy was lost and regained in Germany.

Spotlight Tour: Skirball Architecture and Gardens
Groups of 10 or more are invited to book a private, docent-led tour.
The Skirball campus has been recognized for its intimate scale and sensitivity to the surrounding natural environment. Take a tour of the spectacular buildings and gardens and learn about the vision of the Skirball’s architect, the world-renowned Moshe Safdie.
Comfortable walking shoes, hats, and sunglasses are recommended. Weather permitting only.
