Pop-Up Sewing Exhibit and Demo

Thursday, August 7, 12:00–4:00 p.m.

Stop by the Skirball’s core exhibition, Visions and Values: Jewish Life from Antiquity to America, for a surprise pop-up experience. Get a close look at objects related to the early twentieth-century garment industry, drawn from the Skirball's permanent collection. Then join local group SewCranky, and take your own turn at a beautiful hand-crank antique sewing machine. For all ages.
