About the Program

LA debut! Travel to the American South with the Music Maker Blues Revue. Whether performing on sidewalks or at Carnegie Hall, these seasoned musicians, supported by the Music Maker Relief Foundation since 1994, put on a fast-paced show with a repertoire that includes boogie, funk, soul, R&B, and the entire blues spectrum.

These masterful musicians have supported such legendary artists as James Brown and Percy Sledge. Their performances, including a forty-two city tour with Taj Mahal, have taken them to Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Holland, and Spain. Don’t miss Robert Finley, Alabama Slim, Robert Lee Coleman, Albert White, Nashid Abdul Khaaliq, Ardie Dean, and Lil’ Joe Burton take the stage at the Skirball!

Arrive early to enjoy a DJ set by Justin Gage (Aquarium Drunkard).
