West Coast premiere! Cuban composer and percussionist Roberto Juan Rodriguez returns to the Skirball with a ten-piece ensemble of superb musicians of Cuban, Jewish, and Arabic backgrounds.
Listen to groundbreaking arrangements of Rodriguez’s original compositions, traditional Jewish and Arabic songs, and new taraab (Arabic-rooted music that originated in East Africa) blended with Afro-Cuban rhythms.
