About the Program

This life-affirming lecture series considers artworks from around the globe that deftly articulate the concepts of beauty and harmony. Explore how paintings, photography, sculpture, installations, and architecture from various countries illuminate that notions of beauty are diverse and that the world’s civilizations are linked through art. Subjects will include the red rocks of Petra, monuments along the Nile, Buddhist tombs, and Jewish mosaics.
