About the Program
Presented in collaboration with the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, this award-winning post-Holocaust documentary follows six extraordinary women and captures what it means to transition from tragedy and trauma towards life.
Each woman moved to Los Angeles, married, raised children, and became an American, but continued to struggle with the concept of home—particularly the changing face of America. Join them on an unbelievable, sometimes celebratory, sometimes heartbreaking, but always inspiring journey. Directed by Jon Kean. (2017, 82 min. No MPAA rating.)
A Q&A with director Jon Kean and film subjects Renee Firestone and Erika Jacoby follows the screening.
