  • ?How much does it cost to attend Sunset Concerts?

    Admission to Sunset Concerts is FREE with reservations. Parking is $20 upon arrival, $10 with advance purchase, and $5 for Members with advance purchase. Street parking is strictly prohibited.

  • ?Do I need to reserve tickets to attend Sunset Concerts?

    Yes! Reservations are required so that we can monitor capacity. Walk-ups will not be accommodated.

  • ?Does a reservation guarantee admission to and/or seating at Sunset Concerts?

    Yes! All registered guests arriving by 7:45 pm will be guaranteed entry and a seat in the courtyard. 

  • ?Are masks required at Sunset Concerts?
    Yes! Whether you’re indoors or outdoors, all concertgoers ages 2 and up must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times (except while eating or drinking), regardless of vaccination status. 

    Please follow these “how to wear a mask” guidelines from the LA County Department of Public Health.

  • ?What safety protocols do I need to follow for Sunset Concerts?

    Safety protocols are subject to change. Be sure to check back here before the concert for the most up-to-date information.

    WEAR A FACE COVERING OVER NOSE AND MOUTH—all concertgoers ages 2 and up must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times (except while eating or drinking), regardless of vaccination status.

    WASH AND SANITIZE YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY—Restrooms and hand sanitizer are available for use during your visit.

    STAY HOME IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK, HAVE RECENTLY TRAVELED, OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19—If you or anyone in your party or household is experiencing fever, chills, shortness of breath, cough, or other signs of illness, please stay home and take care. Similarly, if you or anyone in your party or household has traveled out of state within 10 days of the concert or been in close contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within 14 days of the concert, please do not visit the Skirball. Instead, stay home and take care.

    BE PREPARED TO FOLLOW ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS—If you are unwilling or unable to follow these protocols, kindly cancel your reservation to Sunset Concerts by emailing programs@skirball.org. For the health and safety of all, any visitors acting in an unsafe manner or not adhering to the protocols will be asked to leave the campus.

  • ?What is the Skirball doing to keep everyone safe and healthy during Sunset Concerts?

    Your safety is our priority. Here are a few things we’re doing this year to keep everyone healthy:  

    • Operating at limited audience capacity to ensure physical distance from those not in your party. 
    • No paper programs or menus will be distributed. Instead, guests will use QR codes. 
    • All Skirball team members, whether indoors or outdoors, will wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times. 
    • Masks will be provided to any guest who requests one.

  • ?What time does check-in open for Sunset Concerts?

    6:30 pm. All visitors must enter through the main lobby entrance. Reservations are required. 

  • ?Once inside, what can I do at Sunset Concerts?

    After you obtain your wristband and check in, you are welcome to purchase food and beverages (including full bar service) in the Founders Courtyard. Plus, shop at Audrey’s Museum Store—open exclusively for Sunset Concerts this summer—until 8:00 pm! Grab your seats and enjoy the Skirball’s stunning Taper Courtyard before the show. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

  • ?Are food and drinks available at Sunset Concerts?
    Yes! From 6:30 to 10:00 pm, pick up sandwiches, salads, and snacks, as well as beverages (including full bar service) in the Founders Courtyard.
  • ?Can I bring alcoholic beverages to Sunset Concerts?

    No. While you are welcome to bring outside food to the concerts, please remember that outside alcoholic beverages, glass containers, and glassware are not permitted. 

  • ?Will Audrey's Museum Store be open during Sunset Concerts?
    Yes! Audrey’s Museum Store, which officially reopens this October, will be open exclusively for Sunset Concerts from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Don’t forget to pick up your items before the concert begins!
  • ?Can I visit the Museum galleries during Sunset Concerts?

    No. The galleries will not be open during Sunset Concerts this year. Thank you for understanding. 

  • ?Can I take photos at Sunset Concerts?

    You are welcome to take non-flash photographs using hand-held devices for personal, non-commercial use. No flash photography or recordings of any kind are permitted. Please no tripods, selfie sticks, or other equipment that may obscure other attendees' view of the concert.

  • ?Does the Skirball have on-site parking?

    Yes! Parking for Sunset Concerts is $20 upon arrival, $10 with advance purchase, and $5 for Members with advance purchase. Street parking is strictly prohibited.

  • ?Can I get to the Skirball via public transportation?

    Yes! Take public transportation to the Skirball via Metro Rapid 734/Local 234. 

  • ?I’m taking a rideshare service (Lyft, Uber, etc.) or taxi to the Skirball. Where should I request to be dropped off?

    Rideshare pickup and drop-off are located outside the main entrance, by the front steps on Herscher Drive. 

  • ?Can I bring my child to Sunset Concerts?
    Yes! Children are welcome at all concerts. The Sunset Concerts Family Lounge, located directly adjacent to the concert venue, provides a dedicated environment where families with children, ages 3 and up, can enjoy the concert in a comfortable family-friendly space. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No drop offs. 
  • ?Are there amenities for visitors with disabilities at Sunset Concerts?

    Yes! We will have ADA accessible seating ready for those who need it. You can find additional information about ADA accessible parking, borrowing wheelchairs, bringing service animals, and other efforts we are making to welcome visitors to the Skirball on our visit page

  • ?Are noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs available?
    Yes! Visitors with small children and babies may borrow sanitized noise-cancelling headphones during Sunset Concerts, subject to availability. Earplugs are available for adult visitors.
