About the Program

Learn about women who have broken glass ceilings, crashed through barriers, and spoken truth to power with their music. The United States has a long and storied history of political protest and women have often been on the front lines, using music as a reflection of the times and a call to action.

In these sessions, we will explore some of the most influential women musicians, composers, songwriters, and rabble-rousers who have impacted how we see the world and how we can change it for the better.
