About the Festival

Let your dreams run wild as you spend the day with friendly monsters, colorful animals, and eclectic creatures!

Puppets of all shapes and sizes will delight and surprise as you move between performances by some of Southern California’s premier puppetry acts.

Slide, shimmy, and shake a leg during two wildly fun puppet parties, where festival goers and puppeteers all meet up to enjoy live music together. Make sure to keep an eye out for our special MC (Monster of Ceremonies) who will be popping up across the campus! Round out your day by designing a puppet of your own to bring a bit of the magic home!

See Blackstreet USA Theatre, Bob Baker Marionette Theater, The Zuppeteers, and many more. Plus go "behind the curtain" and learn about the art of puppetry with the Rogue Artists Ensemble's Shadow Lab and delight in a Sock Puppet musical-comedy from the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry

Adding to the magic are two wildly fun puppet parties, where festivalgoers and puppeteers all meet up to enjoy live music from Top Shelf Brass Band, who fuse pop hits with musical stylings of a New Orleans second line.

More details announced soon!

"The fun and excitement never stops! The puppeteers are always so amazing and engaging."
