Bring the entire family to squish, scrape, and mix to make natural pigments for an art project with Skirball Artist in Residence Adam Silverman.

Sunday, June 9, 11:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–3:00 pm

Pricing and Details

Included with general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walk-ups welcome, space permitting.

Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 and up; minimum adult/child ratio is 1:4.

Activities are subject to change or cancellation.

About the Program

Join Skirball Artist in Residence Adam Silverman as you squish, scrape, and mix to make natural pigments for an art project from soil, spices, berries, and other colorful plants. Then use your pigments to express yourself in painting. Plant arrangements in vessels from the Common Ground installation will be on hand if you become inspired to paint a still life!
