About the Class
Inspired by the Skirball’s exhibition Jenny Yurshansky: What We Carry, we'll read, discuss, and write stories about transformation and growth, demons and dreams, journeys and histories, all that we carry from the rich experiences of life. We’ll draw upon our internal archives and memories to tell stories as only we can.
Writers of all levels of experience are welcome and may work in any genre.
Instructor: Megan McCord has an MFA from Antioch University Los Angeles where she teaches writing in the Bridge Program. She is a Los Angeles native, lifelong California resident, and lover of stories and storytelling. Her three cats allow her to live with them in Studio City where she also teaches yoga.
