General

Yes! Visitors are permitted to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy in our outdoor spaces. You may also dine at one of our on-site establishments. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the Museum galleries.
Are electric vehicle (EV) chargers available on site?
Yes! Electric vehicle charging stations are located on L1 in the North Parking garage and P3 in East Parking garage. There is a four-hour time limit for use of these stations, which are reserved for vehicles in the process of charging only. Charging fees apply.
Is there somewhere I can store my belongings if I don’t want to carry them with me?
Yes! Visitors may secure personal items in lockers, located on the lower level of the Main Entrance. To access a locker, please check in at the lobby security desk.
Do I need a reservation to visit the museum?
Walk-ups are welcome, but the only way to guarantee entry is to reserve tickets in advance. We especially recommend making advance reservations on FREE Thursdays and for Noah’s Ark on the weekends. Please note that same-day reservations cannot be made online.
Can I bring my pet to the Skirball?
ADA-certified service animals are welcome; pets are not permitted.
Do you have wheelchairs to borrow?
Yes! A limited number of wheelchairs are available for check-out on a first-come, first-served basis at the lobby desk in the Main Entrance and at the security kiosk in the North Parking garage. If you are parking in the East Parking garage and require a wheelchair, please call (310) 440-4676 in advance so that a security guard may be ready to assist you upon your arrival. I am running late for my Noah's Ark reservation time. Is there a grace period for entry?
For Noah’s Ark, visitors have ninety minutes from the time of their ticket, and you may enter at any point during your ninety-minute timeslot. Please keep in mind, arriving late means you will have less time to enjoy Noah’s Ark.
Can I get same-day tickets online?
Same-day General Admission tickets can be purchased online until 12:00 pm during the week and until 10:00 am on the weekends.
Same-day tickets to Noah's Ark cannot be purchased online. Limited same-day tickets to Noah's Ark can be purchased in person on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I send someone else to collect my tickets if I am unable to come?
Yes. Please forward your e-tickets to the person visiting and share with them the name that the tickets are held under. Alternatively, you may email info@skirball.org to have the name on the order changed.
Can I get a group discount if I purchase multiple tickets?
We offer discounts for groups of 10 or more for our permanent exhibition, Visions and Values, and select temporary exhibitions. Find pricing and information here.
Noah's Ark
What age is Noah’s Ark designed for?
Noah’s Ark is for all ages, those young and young at heart. The most engagement can be expected for ages 2 to 9.
Can I have my child’s birthday party in Noah’s Ark?
We are flattered by your interest, but we do not allow birthday parties in Noah’s Ark. If you would like to hold a birthday party at the Skirball, please contact Hospitality and Private Events for more information.
Is there a limit to the number of Noah's Ark tickets I can get at one time?
Up to 10 tickets can be purchased on our website at one time. For the safety and security of all visitors, please be sure there is at least one adult per four children in your party.
Is Noah’s Ark a religious exhibition?
The exhibition is a secular experience inspired by the Noah’s Ark story. For us, the story is about surviving the challenges life throws our way by getting along and working together.
As it turns out, Noah’s Ark is just one of hundreds of flood stories from around the world. In some tales, the ark is a walnut shell; in others, a hollowed-out pumpkin. But they all have huge storms, safe shelters, and new beginnings.
Programs
Do Skirball programs have assigned seats?
