Experience science, community, and kindness in the Skirball’s NEW Bloom Garden! Inspired by Jewish values of caring for nature, the Bloom Garden is a unique blend of biodiversity, regional sustainability, and second chances. K–12 educators are invited to explore this new addition and discover ways to use gardens to engage students in learning and community building.

About this Program

Join us in exploring the new Bloom Garden and discover different ways to engage students in learning and community building! K–12 teachers are invited to enjoy an interactive tour of the garden and Noah’s Ark Gallery, participate in a hands-on workshop blending art and science, and connect with peers through creativity and wonder. Inspired by Jewish values of caring for nature, the Bloom Garden is a unique blend of biodiversity, regional sustainability, and second chances. 

Lunch, parking, and museum admission are included.

11:40 am—Curriculum Workshop with Getty Global Art and Sustainability Fellow and Skirball Educators
