Arrive early for special pop-up activations and to view the exhibitions! Pan's Labyrinth is the perfect complement to the exhibition Wild Things Are Happening: The Art of Maurice Sendak, which highlights the fantasy worlds, monsters both friend and foe, and creativity of Maurice Sendak's sixty-year career. At 6:30 and 7:30 pm, join Mariam Tabatabaee, Associate Educator at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, on a guided walkthrough of this exhibition and explore heroes and monsters found in narrative art. At 7:00 pm, take part in a monster makeup workshop with special effects artist Ana Miró of Miro Makeups to unleash your own inner creatures.
And, while you're here, don't miss these exhibitions: Frank Stella: Had Gadya, The American Library, Common Ground, and Visions and Values.
