Sadie Davis

Sadie Davis is currently a senior at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where she studies Cinematic Arts. She spends most of her time on short film sets in roles such as director, writer, boom operator, editor, producer, and gaffer. When Sadie is not on film sets, she volunteers at the Hollywood Food Coalition and takes community college courses. She is also a member of the Academy Museum Teen Council, a Student Ambassador for Altadena Wild, and a Youth Ambassador for Queer History at the One Institute. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, swimming, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Sadie is incredibly excited to be a Skirball Teen Advisory Committee member and can't wait to contribute to the Skirball community. 


Ignatius Doherty

Ignatius Doherty is currently a senior at Loyola High School and is thrilled to have been selected for the Skirball Teen Advisory Committee! Curious about how culture and storytelling shape the way people connect, Ignatius hopes to create artistic programming that brings people together. Outside of the committee, he serves as Creative Director of his school newspaper, Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook, and a Teen Council Member at the Oscars. When he is not at school, Ignatius can be found watching movies, volunteering with Best Buddies, or taking long drives through Los Angeles to discover unexplored parts of the city.


Phoebe Gentile

Phoebe Gentile is in her junior year at LAUSD Virtual Academy, where she studies in the Business and Entrepreneur program. She has attended the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) for the past two summers in ceramics and film. Working with all the talented people there deepened her love for creativity and collaboration. She also expresses herself through jewelry making, sewing, and drawing. She is very passionate about learning more from everyplace she goes as she visits museums in New York and California. She values community and working with people who bring different ideas and mindsets to the table. She is excited to join the Skirball Teen Advisory Committee to learn and contribute her own creativity and outlook to the Skirball community.


Evalina Gerencher

Evalina Gerencher is a junior at Harvard-Westlake School, where she is a Peer Support trainee and one of the yearbook editors. She dances competitively and dedicates much of her free time to shaping unique works in her school’s pottery studio. Committed to service, Evalina has supported her local youth through organizations such as No Limits for Deaf Children and Camp Harmony. She is passionate about fostering inclusion and creativity, and also enjoys contemporary art, baking sourdough, matcha, and snowboarding. Evalina looks forward to contributing her leadership and creativity to the Skirball Teen Advisory Committee while also gaining inspiration from fellow members and the Skirball community.


Juju Gordin

Juju Gordin is in her senior year at Girls Academic Leadership Academy (GALA). As a lover of the arts, she has been coming to the Skirball since before she can remember and has especially fond memories of Noah’s Ark! Museums are her current passion. Last year she served as a TeenTix LA intern, making the arts accessible to teens in Los Angeles. She loves how the Skirball has something to offer for people of all ages and is welcoming to everyone. Juju is excited for the opportunity to meet new people, give insight into what teens want to see, and spend time at a really great museum! In her free time, Juju loves to do anything crafty, mainly crocheting and knitting, but she also enjoys needlepointing, sewing, and making jewelry. She loves spending time with friends and family and is always thrilled to jump into a new experience!


Mina Hussenjian

Mina Hussenjian is in his junior year at University High School Charter. He has been creating art all his life, from glitter glue and crayons as a toddler to acrylic paint and markers as a teen. He dips his toes into as many creative expressions as possible. In school, Mina is very involved in theatre where he had been the assistant stage manager and prop master backstage but now is switching it up as a cast member. He is also a a volunteer Interpreter at the La Brea Tar Pits Museum where he can be found every Sunday morning explaining to guests the wonders of the Ice Age. In Mina’s free time he is an artist, Laufey listener, museum goer, and a huge Ghibli fan. He is very big on teamwork and takes pride in community, so he is grateful to be a part of the Skirball’s Teen Advisory Committee where he hopes to explore even more of the infinite ways of being creative.


Abby Landres

Abby Landres is in her senior year at Harvard-Westlake, where her favorite classes are any sort of history, art history, or classics. She’s the founder of Harvard-Westlake’s new journal of student research, The Rest is History, and serves on the board of the annual Westflix student film festival. An alumna of NewGround’s MAJIC Muslim-Jewish teen leadership program, Abby is an assistant teacher at IKAR’s after-school education program and Vice President for Programming of her BBYO youth group chapter. She loves listening to music and taking pictures, and her favorite place to be is at a concert with friends. She’s happy to test out any recipes, sweet or savory, or try a new craft. Abby is excited to bring her interest in art, museums, and event planning to the Teen Advisory Committee.


Zoe Rinsler

Zoë Rinsler is in her junior year at Geffen Academy at UCLA. A lover of all things behind-the-scenes, she spends most of her time as a stage manager for her school’s theater company. Outside of school, Zoë is a member of the California YMCA Youth & Government program, in which she currently serves as Parliamentarian of her delegation. She’s passionate about youth involvement in politics and encourages everyone 16 and up to pre-register or register to vote! Zoë is also a member of the Wise Readers to Leaders Teen Leadership Board, where she co-chairs the Enrichment program, which provides free classes like journalism, coding, and ASL to youth from underserved communities. She loves working with kids and spends her summers as a camp counselor.


Halston Van Atta

Halston Van Atta is in her senior year at iLead Exploration, where she served as Associated Student Body President and National Honor Society  Vice President and currently serves as Senior Class Advisor. She is the Co-Founder and President of the Fashion Club, President of the Acting Club and Art Club and recently launched an ASL Club. Outside of school, Halston teaches and assists at a performing arts studio, leads dance and aerial classes and provides private instruction to students of all levels. She also completed a dance internship program through Santa Monica College. Combining her fluency and passion for ASL and the performing arts, Halston worked as a stage manager for Deaf West Theatre, further reflecting her commitment to creative collaboration. Halston is also the Founder and President of House of Halston, a non-profit organization that provides birthday kits to underprivileged children. She has been visiting the Skirball for as long as she can remember, a place that nurtured her love for art, culture, and creative connection.

Beebe Perez

Beebe Perez was a part of Sherman Oaks CES’s graduating class of 2025. She is a passionate advocate for youth leadership, cultural engagement, and social justice. With experience in student government, community organizing, and education advocacy, Beebe is committed to fostering meaningful dialogue and empowering young voices. She leads initiatives in voter registration, special education awareness, and robotics- always striving to make a lasting impact in her community. Beebe was a member of the Skirball Teen Advisory Committee‘s inaugural cohort.


Micah Trinidad

Micah Trinidad is in her Senior year at Gretchen Whitney High School. Currently serving as the Film Club President at her school, she has curated annual Film Festivals since 2022. Recently, she’s been honing her skills as an intern at Better Youth, a Film and Media Development non-profit in Los Angeles, while gaining valuable experience in the industry. Micah also presented a TEDx Talk about the impacts of Generative AI and art and plans to speak for TEDx again in the near future. She is passionate about empowering the next generation of creatives and helping develop their own opinions while learning from others. As a creative with a Filipino background, Micah Trinidad aims to “learn and live, play and create” a philosophy she’s carried with her since childhood. Micah was a member of the Skirball Teen Advisory Committee’s inaugural cohort.
