Festival Wands with Rediscover Center: Use dowels and upcycled materials to create a festival wand that you can wave and dance with! Add a bell to make it musical and magical.

Logan Hone’s Feel Good Music Train: Travel alongside multi-instrumentalist Logan Hone as you experiment with different instruments and join a cheerful, hands-on jam session aboard the Feel Good Music Train.

Docent Tours: Take a moment to explore special objects with a Skirball Docent in the Visions and Values Gallery (Select times from 12:30–2:30 pm)

Music Jam in Amphitheater: Choose from a variety of instruments including djembe drums, Indonesian hand drums, and shakers and scrapers from South and Central America and work with others to follow basic beats, participate in challenges, and build community through music! (11:15 am)

Family Art Studio—Sukkah Decorations: Join the Skirball and create a fruit-shaped decoration inspired by the Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot. (10:00 am–4:30 pm)

Bloom Garden: Art and Nature Workshops: Celebrate Sukkot with Adamah LA through harvesting and hands-on garden fun. Families will gather herbs from the garden to create small bouquets, then share them with someone new. Along the way, participants will exchange questions, stories, and ideas, discovering how simple acts of generosity can help build community and connection. (12:00 and 2:00 pm)
