About the Program

For the Love of Spock tells the story of Star Trek’s Mr. Spock and the actor who played him for nearly fifty years, Leonard Nimoy. Directed by the famed actor’s son, Adam Nimoy, this documentary is full of never-before-seen footage and interviews with Leonard Nimoy’s friends, family, and colleagues, including actors William Shatner and Zachary Quinto, filmmaker JJ Abrams, and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. (2016, 111 min. No MPAA rating.)

In a conversation and Q&A following the film, hear Adam Nimoy share his personal experiences growing up with his father and the extraordinary lessons he was taught. Plus, check out the exhibition! One-hour, timed-entry tickets to visit Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds will be available for attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to choose your preferred time slot!
